About our Chapter
The Houston Hearts Chapter of National Charity League, Inc., is part of a national mother-daughter organization dedicated to serving the communities in which the chapters are formed and fostering the mother-daughter relationship. Currently, the Houston Hearts Chapter has around 350 active members who volunteer at 16 philanthropic organizations in the Houston and surrounding areas. Our members contributed thousands of volunteer hours in our community last year.
Our goal is to promote a sense of community responsibility in our daughters and strengthen our bond while growing together, sharing of ourselves, and improving our community. The daughters (called Ticktockers), along with their mothers (called Patronesses), participate in a 6-year educational program of philanthropic work, leadership training, educational activities, and cultural events.
