As future leaders, we continually strive to build stronger ties with our communities and the individuals within them. It is through this understanding that we grow and develop broader worldviews that will shape and support our lives. We celebrate our history through traditions that honor the past while serving the future.
Our Chapter works to create a positive environment that nurtures individual growth by recognizing and appreciating the value of differences in each other and the world. Exposure to culturally diverse peoples and events broadens perspective, promotes awareness and teaches cultural sensitivity.
Some of the cultural experiences offered within our Chapter include:
- Musical Theater
- Ballet & Dance Performances
- Cultural Centers
- Art Festivals
- Choral Arts
- Dramatic Theater
We have Chapter time-honored traditions that are cultural activities designed to teach members etiquette, graciousness, self-assuredness in social settings, good manners, and respect of others. Annually each Ticktocker class has a Mother-Daughter Tea and each May our entire Chapter comes together at our Awards and Installation Luncheon to celebrate our members’ philanthropic efforts throughout the year, as well as milestones achieved by individuals and her impact in the communities we serve. In addition, our incoming provisional class of Patronesses and Ticktockers are introduced and welcomed into the chapter. The six-year Mother-Daughter experience culminates in a ceremony for the 12th graders called Senior Recognition which, celebrates our graduating members for their service and commitment to NCL, Inc.
